There are those who say
I deserve the best
That I'm something special
Unlike all the rest

If that is true
Then why am I alone
Why is there no one
That I can call my own

They all wish me luck
In finding that girl
But none wish to be her
The missing part of my world

If I'm so wonderful
Then why do they flee
No more than friends
Are they willing to be

So I sit here alone
With no one to hold
No one to bring me warmth
When my world grows cold

So I'm left here rejected
With the pain of defeat
As I fear "The Best"
