Angels

From the perfect world of Heaven
Descend the guardians of life
The angels of God's creation
Sent to ease our strife

Each a perfect vision of beauty
Either a woman or a man
They lend their divine strength
And help us when they can

The angels roam the Heavens
But they also live on Earth
Shedding tears when we lose a loved one
And rejoicing at each new birth

They come to us when we call them
Even if we can not see
They exist all around us
Without them we could not be

An angel is sent from Heaven
For each of us as a divine guard
To protect us from all evil
That would try to do us harm

Be good to your guardian angel
Try not to cause her pain
She was sent to Earth to help you
But an abused angel can be slain
