There are many
Who'll go any length
To hide the secret
Of their inner strength

They'll ignore its power
Like it doesn't exist
When their conscience pulls them
Still they resist

Carefully they guard it
That precious inner spark
Afraid it will light
The impenetrable dark

They lock it away
Never to be known
Always putting up a front
The truth never shown

What does life matter
If you hide your soul
Something will be missing
You'll never feel whole

Don't hide your power
Instead let it shine
For we're all given gifts
By the Heavenly Divine
