When you look in the mirror
What looks at you back
Are you what you envision

Can you compare to your reflection
Are the two of you in sync
Or is there something missing
A flaw in how you think

Do you argue with your reflection
Not seeing eye to eye
Are you torn in all directions
Wishing you could die

Do you see someone else
Instead of your own face
Do you feel your soul escaping
Leaving you without a trace

Pay heed to your reflection
For it shows what is true
If it seems so unfamiliar
Then pray you don't lose you
